Knit Night: Twist Collective

~ Knit Night is a weekly feature in which I share my recent knitting projects, and yours ~

While I was in Minnesota for Thanksgiving my Grandmommy took me to her yarn and needlepoint shop, 3 Kittens Needlearts in Mendota, MN. If you live around the Twin Cities, you should definitely check it out. They have a beautiful and varied selection of yarn, patterns, hand-painted needlepoint canvases and embroidery thread. Not to mention great displays of completed knitting and needlepoint projects.

One of the completed knitting projects I saw on display was Hosta by Nancy Marchant and I fell in love.

I picked out this yarn to knit it with:

The pattern is from Twist Collective, an independent on-line magazine that focuses on knitting. I had to go to their website to buy it, and when I did I discovered a bunch of other gorgeous patterns that I would love love love to knit up! Twist Collective is definitely going to be a new go-to place for patterns! Anyway, I’m sharing my top five favorites with you below. Let me know which ones are you like, and if you’ve been inspired to start any new knitting projects yourself! And head on over to Twist Collective to browse their patterns, blog and back issues of their wonderful magazine!

Plus, don’t forget to tell me or show me what else you’ve been working on lately – I’d love to see :) xx
