Love List: May 19

Love ListMePipCrums

Just Plain Loving: This yarn bomb installation of different “tube shaped characters” (like the very hungry caterpillar) from children’s books is so cute! Can you guess all the characters? I only recognize a couple…

Crafting: I’ve been dreaming of embroidery lately. I’ve dabbled in it a little in the past, but I think it’s a craft/art that I want to start seriously practicing soon (as if I need another one). Whenever I do start, this travel map is on my to-embroider list.

Cooking: I made this slow cooker chicken taco filling over the weekend. Scrumptious. Amazing. Delicious. And easy. I’m addicted – I think I could eat this every week. If you have a crock pot, you should make it. If you don’t have a crock pot, you should go to Target, buy this $20 crock pot, and then make it. Seriously. Make it.

Downloading: I guess I’m on a desktop wallpaper kick lately. I just cannot get enough. And these watercolor desktop wallpapers shared on Designlovefest recently are just divine. I definitely grabbed all of them.

Baking: Triple chocolate cupcakes. I think that’s all I need to say.

Saving for Later: I want a travel gallery wall in my future home. For sure. I also want one of these chalkboard serving trays (who would have thought you could DIY something this cute and functional?).

Happy Monday lovelies! Pippin and I hope you have a great week. Did you do anything fun over the weekend? I grocery shopped, and cleaned the apartment, and made that chicken that I raved about above. Pippin slept, and played, and slept, and got to go out to dinner with B and I on Friday night (ps Pippin loves scallops – who knew?) And B worked on turning some broken concrete, bricks and retaining wall stones into  a patio… he’s about half done I think. So what are you loving this week? Any projects that are catching your fancy? Share them in the comments below, tweet them to me, or drop a link on my facebook page :)
