Coveting: This “Knit and Let Knit” Tote Bag is just adorable. I officially think I need it!
Just Plain Loving: I don’t even know what to say about this paper succulent wreath, made from this kit. I’ve been a little bit in love with paper flower lately, (see my roundup of paper flower gifts for mother’s day here) and I’m always obsessed with succulents, so this wreath really tickled my fancy.
Knitting: The latest issue of Pom Pom Magazine. It took me to knitting heaven (but then Pom Pom Mag usually does!) I’m especially excited about the shawl on the cover, Baya by Mindy Wilkes, and Sombra, the light and floaty sweater by Elanor King.
Reading: I’ve just started London, by Edward Rutherfurd, after finishing Snobs, by Julian Fellows (yes, that Julian Fellows – Downton Abbey creator extraordinaire). London is a work of historical fiction spanning two millenia of life in and around London. 313 pages in (out of 1124) I’m intrigued and totally captivated. But I have a bit of a weak spot for English history – I find it incredibly interesting!
Baking: I’m loving the sound of two recipes this week: these blue sky bran muffins by Smitten Kitchen and this non-dairy, no-bake strawberry cheesecake. I think I’m going to have to try the cheesecake pretty soon – cheesecake is one of me and B’s favorite desserts!
I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. B and I did lots of relaxing, shirked our chores and took Pippin on walks around the neighborhood. What have you been up to lately?
