I’m sharing how to make this gorgeous and chic tassel garland out of old tights and nylons over on Dream A Little Bigger today. It’s my very first post as a monthly contributor, and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am! Please pop over there and check it out – Allison runs an amazing blog and I am so happy that I get to be a part of it from now on, even in such a small way.

This tassel garland is simple to make and I think the results are so stunning – more sophisticated than yarn tassels but softer (and longer lasting) than tissue paper. Your bedroom window is begging for one of these to dress it up! See the full tutorial right here!

  2. What a super cool idea! Just imagine all the different prints you could use for this, and how big you could make it. This would be great to get the kids crafting too. Thank you!

I can’t believe how adorable this looks! What a fantastic way to repurpose something that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

That is such a cute idea Aimee! And after the party you could hang it up over a window or door – I love repurposed things that you can use multiple ways – it’s like double repurposing!!
